superbot

superbot is your own AI agent, inside Discord.

It is not a second assistant with its own memory. A superbot answer runs on your superbot account: your history, your tools, your connected accounts and your credits, so the conversation you started on the web carries on in a channel.

Commands

• /ask <question>: a full turn. The answer streams into one message, and with "Reply mode" set to thread it opens a thread for the answer instead of filling the channel. /ask also takes a file (an image, a document, a sound) for superbot to read.
• /link: connect this Discord account to your superbot account. One OAuth click on superbot.gg; this reply is private.
• /settings [project]: see your link, and set a channel's default project so /ask in that channel lands in the right work.

Getting started

1. Add superbot to a server, or install it to your own account so the commands follow you everywhere.
2. Run /link and approve the one-click consent on superbot.gg.
3. Run /ask what can you do? in any channel where the bot can post.

What it can answer

superbot reaches the tools you have connected: web search, your Gmail and calendar, files you upload, and the other apps you have linked on superbot.gg. An answer that carries a file (an image, a document, a clip) is posted as an attachment. An answer that does not fit in a Discord message links to the full conversation on superbot.gg.

Permissions

superbot asks for View Channel, Send Messages, Embed Links, Attach Files, Read Message History, Create Public Threads and Send Messages in Threads. It never asks for Administrator.
