Shifu

Shifu is an AI powered, Low-code, node-based visual automation layer for Discord.

If someone can say it, and Discord’s API can do it, Shifu builds it now or records the gap, ships the smallest missing piece, and tells them when it is ready.

Shifu is how you build on Discord what used to require a programmer, in a form you can still open, read, and change.

AI is how it gets made. Nodes are how it stays yours. Discord is the only ceiling. If Shifu itself is the thing in the way, that is a bug: we record it, we close it, and we come back to the person who asked.

Figma stopped being “easier design” the day the file became something other tools could write into. Framer went one step further: the output is a live site, and you can still touch it. WordPress won because it removed code, then stalled the moment someone wanted something the theme could not express. The AI website tools that dump code you cannot safely edit just rebuilt that stall.

MEE6 is that stall on Discord. Forms, toggles, a fixed menu of features. That is how millions of servers get a welcome message and then stop. Node-RED proved the other half years ago: event-driven systems want wires, because a wire can branch and a settings page cannot. Neither of them did the missing part: an author that writes in a visible language, and a language that grows until it matches the platform underneath.

Nodes without AI leave you with Node-RED’s problem: only people willing to learn the canvas show up. AI without nodes leaves you with a chatbot that spends credits to change one word in a welcome message. The interesting product is both, with a hard split:

• AI builds the structure. The graph, the branches, the “when this, unless that.”
• Hands change the substance. Text, roles, channels, numbers, delays. No credits.

That split is why a server owner will stay. They can learn the system by editing it. They are not renting a black box.
