Let members hand out roles — without giving them "Manage Roles."

Right now Discord gives you one option: grant someone "Manage Roles" and they can assign _any_ role below their own, server-wide. There's no way to say "the events team can give out @Event Attendee, and nothing else, and only to verified members." Falu adds that option.

How it works

1. Set a rule in the web dashboard: who's allowed to grant, which role they can grant, and who's allowed to receive it. For example: _"Anyone with @Event Staff can give @Event Attendee to anyone with @Verified."_
2. Members use /give-role @user @role in your server.
3. Falu checks the rule and grants the role instantly if it matches — or tells them no if it doesn't.

That's it. No more choosing between "give full role management" or "do it all by hand."

Why it's safe for your server

• The bot only touches roles. It doesn't read messages, doesn't need member-list access, and can't do anything you haven't set a rule for.
• Nobody can escalate. Someone who can grant a role still can't grant roles above their own, and can't touch anything outside the rules you wrote.
• Full audit trail. Every grant attempt — approved, denied, or failed — is logged and viewable in the dashboard, so you always know who granted what to whom.
• You stay in control. Rules live in a dashboard only your admins can access, and can be edited or removed anytime.

Getting started

1. Invite the bot to your server.
2. Open the dashboard and sign in with Discord.
3. Pick your server and add your first rule.
4. Members can start using /give-role right away.
