World History Encyclopedia: The Ultimate History Bot

Stop googling your history questions and getting half-truths from questionable websites and AI Summaries. Meet the World History Encyclopedia Bot — a Discord research assistant that bases its answers exclusively on peer-reviewed, verifiable sources. Whether you're settling a debate about Roman tactics, researching a thesis on the Silk Road, or going on a late-night lore-dive, this bot gives you answers you can actually trust.

Why use this bot?

Verified Sources: Unlike standard AI that "hallucinates" facts, our bot is powered by Perplexity AI and only draws on the World History Encyclopedia library and Open University's CORE database with thousands of peer-reviewed academic papers.
Cite Your Sources: Every single answer comes with direct citations. No more "trust me bro" — now you can verify every claim with one click.
Visual History: It doesn't just talk; it shows. Answers come with high-resolution historical maps, infographics, and illustrations delivered straight to your Discord channel.
Academic Quality, for Everyone: It’s like having a team of historians and librarians in your pocket, ready to pull from scholarly databases in seconds, written in a language anyone can understand.

How it works

Install the bot to your channel and then simply use the /history slash command to ask anything from "How did the Inca build a mountain empire without knowledge of the wheel?" to "Show me a map of the Roman Empire at its peak."

/history [question] – Get a cited, deep-dive answer from our academic databases.

Join the verified history movement.

We believe history education should be free, accessible, and —most importantly— accurate. Add the World History Encyclopedia bot to your server and turn your Discord into a world-class research hub.
