Watchstander

Stop raids and spam before they spread, and set up your server in about a minute.

Watchstander is a moderation and community bot for gaming servers: anti-spam, Raid Shield, ModMail, leveling and LFG in one bot. Most features are free.

⚡ 60-second setup

Add the bot and run /setup quickstart. Watchstander will:

• create a Watchstander Staff role
• build a staff-only Watchstander category with #watchstander-alerts, plus ModMail, applications and suggestions forums
• post a setup checklist with one-click Fix buttons, and let you pick your mod, server and message log channels

Run it again whenever you want. It repairs anything that's missing and never makes duplicates. Watchstander never asks for Administrator.

Why server owners pick Watchstander

• On from the first minute: anti-spam and Raid Shield are already running when the bot joins
• Staff stay in control: bans, kicks and lockdowns only happen when staff click, and /massban defaults to a dry run
• One bot instead of five: safety, ModMail, applications, leveling, LFG and game nights
• Free where it counts: the core features below cost nothing
• Slash commands plus a web dashboard, with /help for every command

🛡️ Safety (free)

• Anti-spam: limits for message and mention floods, cross-channel copy-paste, edited-message tricks and non-staff @everyone attempts; repeat offenders get longer timeouts
• Raid Shield: spots join waves and pings staff once, with a live alert card
• Verify gate: a one-click Verify button; accounts that are too new go to staff review
• /lockdown and /unlock: /unlock restores everything exactly; also /massban and /masskick

🧰 Staff tools (free)

• ModMail: member DMs become private staff tickets with transcripts
• Staff applications (/apply) and suggestions (/suggest): each lands in a staff-only forum with Accept/Deny or Approve/Decline buttons, and the member is told the decision
• Server action log, /announce, panels and role pickers

🎮 Community (free)

• XP and rank roles: /rank, /leaderboard and level-up posts
• LFG: /lfg posts a squad card with Join/Leave buttons, pings only that game's role and opens a temporary voice room
• Temp voice: Join-to-Create rooms that members control with /voice
• Game nights: /gamenight creates native Discord events
• Welcome and goodbye posts, plus self-assign game and notification roles

⭐ Premium: $4.99/month per server, bought in Discord

Custom welcome and goodbye text, welcome banner images, scheduled announcements, a message edit/delete log, Raid Shield auto mode and advanced raid controls, staff permission tiers, a verify role hold, permanent voice rooms, inactivity demotion and applications with up to 10 questions. Cancel anytime in Discord under User Settings → Subscriptions. See /premium status for details.
