Live translation that starts with consent

I built Wandering Voice to help people share the same Discord voice channel even when they do not share the same language. It can translate conversations in both directions, translate everyone into one selected language, post live captions, speak the translated result using a clearly synthetic interpreter voice, or do both.

What it can do

• Translate between 15 selectable languages.
• Run two-way or one-way interpretation.
• Post translated captions in the selected voice channel's chat or another chosen channel.
• Provide spoken translation, captions only, or spoken translation with captions.
• Let an administrator choose the voice channel, language pair, direction and output.
• Show the active session, languages and consent count with /voice status.

Consent and privacy are built in

Every speaker must opt in from the session's consent panel before their speech is processed. Wandering Voice subscribes only to opted-in speakers. Short audio segments are held in memory only long enough to transcribe and translate them; raw recordings, voiceprints and audio files are not saved. Consent is removed automatically when a member leaves the active voice channel.

Translated speech is clearly identified as an AI-generated synthetic voice. Wandering Voice never clones or imitates a member's voice and never reads ordinary text chat.

Kept separate for reliability

Voice translation runs as its own focused application so audio work cannot interrupt DayZ feeds, Nitrado controls, the dashboard, shops or moderation. Wandering Voice is included with every active paid Wandering Bot family plan, so communities do not need a separate voice-bot subscription
