Focused protection for real Discord communities

I built Wandering Moderator to keep community safety reliable and separate from the heavier DayZ work handled by Wandering Bot. Moderation, greetings and member help continue running without being held up by ADM processing, Nitrado calls, file tools, shopping or voice translation.

Staff tools

• Warnings and warning history.
• Timeouts and timeout removal.
• Kicks, bans and unbans.
• Channel purges and strike clearing.
• Live Discord permission and role-hierarchy checks before every staff action.
• Private audit cards showing who acted, why they acted and whether Discord accepted the action.

Automatic community protection

Wandering Moderator can detect Discord invite adverts, unsafe external links, scam phrases, blocked phrases, mass mentions, burst spam, repeated messages and cross-channel spam. Configurable strikes can warn first and escalate later. Join-burst raid alerts notify staff without blindly punishing every new arrival.

Greetings and Smart Help

Server owners can build styled welcome and goodbye cards with optional banners and 15 language templates. Smart Help recognizes the natural questions members ask—such as where to link a gamertag—and points them to as many as five useful channels. Source-channel controls and cooldowns prevent noisy or repeated answers.

Least privilege and safe handover

The companion has no Nitrado, FTP, XML, shop, wallet, event-builder, AI sandbox or voice-translation access. The original Wandering Bot remains the safe fallback until an administrator deliberately activates the companion with /mod setup.
