Voicely Ping is a Discord bot that allows users to set up direct message notifications for when there are a certain number of people in a voice channel.

Commands

Pings

#### /ping add

This command brings you through a form that allows you to set up pings for multiple channels.

#### /ping remove

This command generates dropdowns that allow you to remove pings you have already set.

Silent Hours

#### /silent add

This command allows you to set up one or more recurring silent hours during which you will never receive ping notifications.

You will be asked to specify:

• Days – The days of the week the silent hours apply to. You can specify:

* A single day, such as Monday. * Multiple days separated by commas, such as Monday,Wednesday,Friday. * A range of days, such as Monday-Friday. * Weekdays. * Weekends. * Every day.

• Start Time – The time the silent hours begin.
• End Time – The time the silent hours end.
• Time Zone – The time zone the hours should be interpreted in.

If the start time is later than the end time, the silent hours will continue overnight into the following day.

For example, if you set:

• Days: Weekdays
• Start Time: 10:00 PM
• End Time: 8:00 AM

You will not receive notifications from 10:00 PM until 8:00 AM on weekday nights.

#### /silent remove

This command generates dropdowns that allow you to remove silent hours you have already set.

Do Not Disturb

#### /dnd enable

This command enables Do Not Disturb, temporarily preventing all ping notifications until you turn it off again.

#### /dnd disable

This command disables Do Not Disturb, allowing you to receive ping notifications again.

#### /dnd status

This command tells you whether Do Not Disturb is currently enabled or disabled.

Admin commands

Available to server admins.

#### /visible

This command sets whether command responses are visible to other server members.

How Pings Work

When the number of people you specified are in one of the voice channels you specified, you will receive a direct message telling you who or how many people (if more than five) are in the voice channel.

Unless you set up more than one ping for it, you will not receive another notification until everyone has left the voice channel, after which the message you received will be edited to reflect that.

You will not receive notifications while Do Not Disturb is enabled or during any silent hours that you have configured.
