A criminal economy for your server. Hustle, pull heists, launder the take, and run rackets that earn while you're offline. Crime gets noticed, and Heat costs you. Every server plays separately.
Underworld is a criminal economy game. Every server runs its own, completely separate from every other one.
Two kinds of money
Crime pays in dirty money, and dirty money cannot be spent. Clean money buys things. Laundering is the only bridge between the two, and it takes a cut. That single rule is the whole game.
The loop
/hustle is the quick earner. 80% success, 2 to 500 dirty, 60 second cooldown./heist is a timed minigame. 350 to 2,500 dirty on a win, 15 minute cooldown, spent on the attempt whether you win or not./launder washes dirty into clean. The fee starts at 15% and climbs with your Heat. 5% chance of getting busted./collect banks whatever your rackets earned while you were gone.Five of them, bought in order with clean money. They earn dirty money on their own, online or not.
Heat
Crime gets noticed. Heat runs from 0 to 100 and cools by 2 an hour on its own, no action needed. Hustling adds a little, a heist adds a lot, and a big collection adds more.
High Heat makes laundering expensive, up to a 45% fee at the cap. Past Heat 60 your collections can get shaken down and you lose part of the haul. Heat is the pressure valve: push hard and you earn faster but keep less.
Showing up
/daily pays 250 dirty on a 20 hour rolling window, and a streak builds it to 1.5x over 14 days. Missing a day is a setback, never a reset. Coming back from a break is never worth more than simply showing up.
Founding Server and Founding Member
The first 100 servers to get three members actually playing are numbered and marked as Founding Servers, held for as long as Underworld stays installed. The first 500 players to claim a daily, anywhere, get a permanent Founding Member badge.
Both are cosmetic. Neither can be bought, and neither changes a single number in the game.
No real money
Everything in Underworld is fictional. No purchases, no cash out, no trading, no real world value. The odds are published in /help and read from the same constants the game runs on, so the numbers you see are the numbers in play.
For admins
/config requires Manage Server. Turn the economy on or off, disable shakedowns, and send configuration changes to an audit channel. Any player can run /forgetme to permanently delete their own data, in one server or in all of them.
