TrapDoor is a lightweight Discord anti-bot honeypot and moderation system built by The Trans Girl Workshop.

Instead of trying to analyse every message in your server, TrapDoor creates a clearly warned honeypot channel. Legitimate members leave it alone. Bots and spam accounts that blindly post across every available channel can trigger the trap and be automatically banned.

🛡️ Automatic Exemptions

TrapDoor automatically ignores:

• The server owner
• Bots and webhooks
• Members with Administrator
• Members with Ban Members
• Roles explicitly added to TrapDoor's exemption list

🧪 Safe Self-Test

Server administrators can run:

/honeypot test

This checks TrapDoor's permissions, channels, database configuration, role hierarchy, logging and warning-message management without performing a real ban.

🔐 Privacy

TrapDoor is designed to collect as little data as possible. It stores only the server configuration needed to operate the honeypot and does not persist message content.
