🎙️ Text To Speech Bot – Speak Messages in Voice Channels!

🔹 Overview

Text To Speech Bot is a lightweight and responsive Discord bot that converts messages into voice and plays them in a voice channel. It is designed to automatically speak any message sent in a text channel whose name starts with vc-.

> ✅ Just join a VC, send a message in a vc- text channel, and hear it read out loud in real-time!

🔧 Setup & Commands

#### 1. Join a Voice Channel

Use the following slash command to make the bot join your current voice channel:

/join

> 📌 The bot will only speak if you send messages in text channels that start with vc- (e.g., #vc-general, #vc-chat, etc.)

#### 2. Leave the Voice Channel

To disconnect the bot from voice chat:

/leave

#### 3. Clear the Text To Speech Queue

If there’s a backlog of messages waiting to be spoken, you can clear it instantly:

/clear

#### 4. Skip the Current Message

Want to skip a message that’s currently being spoken?

/skip

💬 How Text To Speech Works

Once the bot is connected to a VC, any message you send in a vc- channel is queued to be spoken.
Text To Speech audio is generated using Google Text-to-Speech (gText To Speech) and played using FFmpeg.
Only messages under 250 characters are accepted (to prevent abuse and long reads).
Messages from bots are ignored automatically.

🧠 Behavior & Notes

Only works in voice channels and text channels prefixed with vc-.
Each server (guild) maintains its own voice client.
Text To Speech audio is generated per-message and cleaned up afterward to save space.
Message order is preserved in the queue.

💡 Example Use Case

1. Join a VC.
2. Bot joins using /join.
3. Type: Hey guys, I'm using Text To Speech! in #vc-chat.
4. Bot speaks it out in the VC.
5. Type /skip to skip, or /clear to stop the queue.
