Tapography

Tapography is a daily geography quiz I made because the games I liked playing with friends either didn't have a real way to compare scores or couldn't be played together in the same place. So I built my own.

Every day there are three separate puzzles, each with five rounds. Landmarks gives you a cryptic clue and asks you to find the place it's describing. Cities just gives you a name, like "Nairobi, Kenya," and you have to pin it. Events drops you into a moment in history and asks where it happened. All three run on a real 3D globe you can spin and zoom into, and your score for each round depends on how close your guess lands to the actual spot, not just whether you got the country right.

Everyone gets the same five puzzles each day, so it's easy to compare results with friends. You can play straight from your browser as a guest with no account and no download, and copy a shareable results card when you're done. Or, if you're in a Discord server, add the Tapography bot and play it right inside Discord as an Activity, with automatic daily leaderboards, streak tracking, and a reminder each morning so you don't miss a day.
