Sentinel

Sentinel is the security and moderation bot in the Ascent Pantheon — a zero-trust defense layer for Discord communities that take safety seriously.

What it does

• Zero-trust anti-nuke — watches for dangerous role grants, mass deletes, bans, kicks, webhook floods, and suspicious bot-add bursts. Containment is configurable per guild (ban, kick, or quarantine) with optional panic-mode lockdown
• Scored anti-raid — joins are scored on account age, default avatar, and entropy-heavy usernames. Graduated escalation goes from slowmode and verification raise, to suspicious-join containment, to full lockdown
• Identity-spoofing defense — confusable and mixed-script detection plus configurable similar-name watch (staff bots, selected roles, specific names, everyone)
• Support-bait protection — fake "open a ticket" or fake support channel and thread names are blocked even when attackers use spaced-out or homoglyph variants
• Verification gate — persistent verification flow with quarantine and auto-role on success
• Custom logging — per-event toggles for deletes, edits, bulk deletes, joins, leaves, role changes, nicknames, timeouts, and ban/unban. Routes to multiple channels with embed-detail tuning

• Progressive discipline with DB-backed audit trail
• Auto-mod for links, invites, profanity, mention spam, phishing, and spam patterns with mod-pass exemptions
• Role, channel, and permission snapshots plus emergency channel or server-wide lockdown

• AI second-opinion on borderline mod decisions (Pro and up)
• Bulk undo and modlog with full action history
• Appeals system with a member-facing appeal UI
