Rankoon is a free, open-source Discord bot for configurable leveling, visible progress, and temporary voice channels your members can manage themselves. It focuses on the activity that makes a community feel alive instead of trying to become another all-in-one bot.

Leveling that fits your server

Award XP for messages, reactions, threads, scheduled event interest, and eligible time in voice channels.
Configure XP values, cooldowns, exclusions, and voice-channel multipliers.
Keep voice XP meaningful by ignoring AFK channels, excluding deafened members, or requiring another qualifying person in the channel.
Grant cumulative reward roles as members reach configured levels.

Progress your members can see

Members can use /rank to view their progress and /leaderboard to see the server's top members by XP. Rankoon also provides configurable web leaderboards with public or members-only visibility.

Rankoon uses a MEE6-compatible cumulative level curve and can import a MEE6-style JSON export, helping communities move without discarding earned progress.

Voice rooms on demand

Create join-to-create hubs that open a temporary voice channel when a member joins. The owner can rename the room, change its user limit, disconnect a member, or transfer ownership. Empty rooms are removed automatically.

Rankoon does not request Discord's Administrator permission. Message content is not stored as a permanent record.

Free and open source

Rankoon has no premium feature locks. Its source code, releases, and self-hosting instructions are available on GitHub under the AGPLv3 license.

Get started

1. Add Rankoon to your server.
2. Sign in at rankoon.fun with Discord.
3. Select your server and configure XP, rewards, leaderboards, and voice hubs.
4. Try /rank, /leaderboard, and /voice.
