PartyDub is a dubbing game. You bring a video clip, everyone in the room
re-voices it at the same time — alone, hearing nobody else — and then all the
versions play back and you vote on the best one.

How a round works

1. Pick a clip. The host chooses a short video from their own device. Its
lines are found automatically, so there's nothing to mark up by hand.
2. Get cast. Players are split into teams, one person per character. You
only find out which one you got.
3. Perform blind. Record your lines one at a time and redo any of them as
often as you like. Nobody else can hear you.
4. Watch and vote. Every version plays back for the first time. Vote for
the best one — you can't vote for your own.

What you need

Nothing. It runs in a browser tab, there's nothing to install, and joining a
room doesn't need an account — the host shares a link and you're in.

It works well alongside a voice call: the recording part is silent, so everyone
stays muted until the playback, which is where it falls apart.

Where your clip goes

Your video never leaves your device except to go straight to the other players.
To find the lines worth dubbing, its audio alone is analysed and held in memory
for a single request — never stored. Recordings live in memory during the round
and are gone when it ends. There's no feed, no gallery, and nothing is
published.

Free to play

Free rooms hold 4 players and clips up to five minutes. Supporting the game
raises that to 8 players and ten-minute clips, and keeps the automatic
line-finding running past the monthly allowance — after which you can still
mark the lines by hand and play exactly as before.

You bring the clip: your own footage, your own memes, anything you have the
right to use.
