This Discord bot can display housing information for the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV, FF14).

You can filter and display data from PaissaDB directly in Discord, making it easier to share it with friends.

You can also set up a text channel within your server to receive announcements when a new lottery phase begins.

Commands

• /paissa [datacenter] [world] → Use this command to find housing information for a data center and world of your choice. You can further filter it within the command using the optional parameters. You can filter it by:

- [district] → Housing District (Mist, The Lavender Beds, The Gauntlet, Shirogane, Empyreum) - [size] → Plot Size (Small, Medium, Large) - [lottery-phase] → Current Phase (Accepting Entries, Results, Unavailable, FCFS, Missing/Outdated) - [allowed-tenants] → Who can enter the lottery (Free Company, Individual) - [plot] → Specific plot number. Selects subdivision automatically (30 also shows 60) - [ward] → Specific ward number

• /help → Information about the bot, transparency, commands and the deployment hash.
• /announcement set → Set up a text channel to receive announcements when a new lottery phase starts.
• /announcement remove → Remove your configuration to stop receiving announcements.
• /announcement view → View the current announcement text channel to verify your configuration.

Transparency and Safety

While this bot is unofficial related to PaissaDB, Zhu (the developer of PaissaDB) knows about this Discord bot and endorses it. The code is publicly available on the GitLab, and it is automatically deployed to the server. You can see the deployment hash in the /help command to verify, that the running code fits the code hosted on GitLab.

This Discord bot also does not break the TOS by Square Enix, as it just receives and displays data from PaissaDB's API and does not interact with the game in any way.

Discord Permissions

The following permission are needed in order to provide all functionality:

• View Channels → So the bot can see the channel to post announcements in.
• Send Messages → So the bot can post announcements.
• Embed Links → All messages by PaissaHouse are formatted as embed. (This is the fancy box with the color strip on the left side.)
• Use External Emojis → Housing categories are being shown with an external emoji.
