What is PackPack?

PackPack is a bot which can provide rich information about game called The Battle Cats. It supports not only basic feature such as unit, enemy, or stage stats, but also other various features such as viewing animation through gif, background, castle, music, event data, or just any kind of information that can be displayed are supported by bot.

It has capability to show information in various languages. Not all languages are translated, but it can display The Battle Cats names with English, Japanese, Chinese (Traditional), Korean, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Thai (Basically all languages that BC supports).

Not only that, it has mature permission setting. For example, moderators can allow users to use bot's commands only in specific channels. Or assign role to bot, so that it can recognize users specially, for allowing them to use commands, and so on.

Minor features are that it has scam link detector, so if any compromised account sends registered link to thee server, it will directly handle said users (mute, kick, ban, decided by moderators) as soon as it detects those links as long as moderators has set up the system. Other feature is that it has basic math calculation such as simple calculator, plotting graph (both y=f(x), or f(x, y) format), solving equation, integration, differentiation using numerical methods.

Commands

Basic Commands

• Unit, Enemy, Stage

You can view stat of unit, enemy, stage. The Battle Cats, aka, BC lacks features that shows raw stats of unit or enemy, etc. The game does contain raw values such as HP, Attack Damage, Abilities, but these values are hidden behind. Fortunately, this bot has capability to show stat of them as detailed as possible. These 3 commands will be very representing commands of this bot.

• Background, Castle, Music, Soul

BC has other small stuff like these. Bot supports every single part of the game, and thus it has capability to show how castle would look like, what music sounds like, etc.

• Animation

Yes, bot also has capability to show animation of any kind of unit and enemy. Most of animations are stored as gif file (They are cached once any of users command bot to generate it), so users can share gif file to anyone else, or other servers.

• Event Data

Bot also has capability to detect new event data of BC, so that it can keep posting upcoming events to users. Of course, moderators have to set up the channel manually, but once it's set up, bot will send new event data automatically, with additional feature that allows bot to mention users or send additional messages along with event data.

• Preferences

To remove tediousness from using the bot, it allows users to set their own personal preferences, and bot will consider it whenever said user uses the bot. Also bot allows them to set their own one personal prefix that can detect user specially.

Moderation

• Permission System

Sometimes moderators may not want users to misuse bot's commands in incorrect channels. You may want them not to use commands here. In that case, you can make users to use the commands only in limited channels. Also, you can assign role data to the bot, and use that role for giving special permission to users who have said roles.

• Scam link detector

This bot doesn't have third party scam link detecting library, but it has dynamic registered links which are managed by few users, so it can help moderators to catch compromised users who send unregistered scam links in other third party libraries. Moderators can decide how bot will handle compromised users; mute, kick, or ban.

Misc.

• Math Commands

It's outside of BC area, but bot has ability to calculate equations. For example, the command called p!c, can calculate from basic formula such as 2 + 5 * 3, to scientific calculator level formula such as sin(2 + cos(pi)).
