OneProtection

OneProtection is a verification bot for Discord servers. Before anyone gets into your community, it asks each new member to confirm their account. People who come back after a ban on a second account, or who hide behind a VPN, get caught before they cause any trouble.

How it works

New members find a verify button in the channel you choose. Clicking it gives them a personal link that opens on the OneProtection website. The check takes a few seconds, and once it passes, the bot gives them your verified-member role. Anyone who doesn't finish within the time you set is kicked automatically, so your server doesn't fill up with abandoned accounts or bots.

For your staff

When a user looks suspicious, /user-lookup shows whether they are linked to other accounts and whether they have already gone through verification. Moderators make the call. The bot gathers the information and doesn't ban on your behalf.

Privacy

Verification tokens are stored only as hashes and expire after a limited time. Personal data is handled in line with the GDPR and used only to protect the server.
