Nekumi is a feature-packed Discord bot built to help communities manage, entertain, protect, and grow their servers without needing a huge collection of separate bots.

Originally created for the Nekoune Community, Nekumi has been rebuilt from the ground up with a modern interaction-first design using Discord slash commands, buttons, select menus, modals, persistent panels, database-backed systems, and an optional web dashboard.

Nekumi supports persistent ticket panels, opening-description modals, private ticket channels, staff claiming, ticket closing, and database-backed transcripts.

👋 Welcome, Leave & Autoroles

Give new members a proper welcome with configurable welcome and leave systems.

Servers can configure custom channels, message templates, embeds, colors, placeholders, previews, and automatic roles through either Discord commands or Nekumi's dashboard.

🔊 Temporary Voice Channels

Allow members to create their own temporary voice channels automatically.

Channel owners can rename their room, change user limits, lock access, invite users, remove users, and close their room. Empty temporary channels are automatically cleaned up.

🌐 Global Chat

Connect communities together using Nekumi's interaction-based Global Chat system.

Users deliberately submit messages through slash commands or a Write button and modal instead of Nekumi reading ordinary Discord conversations.

Global Chat includes guild-level blocking, rate limits, webhook relaying, and disabled mentions for additional protection.

🤖 AI & Character Chat

Nekumi includes optional AI-powered conversations using OpenAI-compatible APIs.

Supported backends can include OpenAI, Ollama, LM Studio, OpenWebUI, vLLM, and other compatible /chat/completions services.

Custom character personalities can be created using configurable persona files.

AI features are available as supporter perks and require an active linked Patreon status before requests are sent to an AI provider.
