NAVCOM AI — Star Citizen Discord Bot
Verify RSI identities. Sync org & rank roles. Run your org’s Discord without the spreadsheet hell.
NAVCOM AI is a Discord bot built specifically for Star Citizen communities — from tight squads to multi-org alliances. Members prove they own their RSI handle once. NAVCOM keeps Discord roles, nicknames, and security in step with their live RSI profile. Admins configure everything in a full web portal or with slash commands — same settings, either path.

Why orgs switch to NAVCOM
Most SC servers still hand-check RSI bios, update roles by eye, and hope nobody from a hostile org slips through. NAVCOM turns that into a repeatable system:
- Members run
/verify with a one-time bio code — no staff ticket queue
- Global verification follows them across NAVCOM-enabled servers (plus optional local-only verify when you need a one-guild exception)
- Org SID + rank 0–5 map to one or more Discord roles each
- Main vs not-main affiliation: different roles for people whose main is your org vs affiliates
- Scope controls: membership roles and rank roles can target main org only or all org memberships
- Nicknames can show RSI handle / display name, org tags, and an optional ✅ checkmark
- Staff get action logs, members/bans tools, org auto-ban, welcomes, dynamic voice, reaction roles, and delegated command access
You keep Discord as the hub. NAVCOM keeps it honest.
Core features
✅ RSI verification
Members prove ownership of an RSI.com account. After success, roles and nicknames update automatically. Mods can check status, force local verify when needed, and clear verification so someone can start clean. Optional
join DM nudges new members to verify. Optional
auto-clear local when global verification is set.
◎ Org & rank role sync
Map each org’s
SID (the short ID in the RSI URL) to Discord
member roles and
rank 0–5 roles.
Multi-role cells: one membership or rank can grant
several Discord roles.
Consider main-org splits a mapping into
Main only and
Not main only rows so affiliates don’t get the same kit as full mains.
When membership or ranks change on RSI, a refresh puts Discord back in line.
🌐 Web UI (the control room)
The
NAVCOM portal is a full guild settings UI — not a afterthought:
- Tabbed config: Verification · Nicknames · Organizations · Voice · Welcome · Reaction roles · Command access · Security · Members · Bans · Action log · Status
- Multi-select role pickers, live welcome Discord-style preview, members filters/sort, ban management
- Install the bot on servers you admin; delegated mods can manage only the tabs their roles are allowed to touch
- Sign in with Discord or email
Configure once in the browser when you’re doing a big org restructure. Use slash commands for quick changes mid-op.
Same backend either way.

⌂ Welcome messages
Post a custom welcome when someone joins. Discord markdown,
{user} mentions,
#channel-name auto-resolved to real channel links, and a live preview in the portal so you see it before members do. Empty message = disabled.
◈ Dynamic voice channels
Members join a
starter voice channel; NAVCOM spawns temporary rooms (
Squad 01,
Squad 02, …) into a target category and cleans them up when empty. Perfect for fleet nights, mining ops, and overflow hangouts.
◉ Per-type action logs
Staff logging you can actually use: turn
each event type on/off and send it to
its own channel — verifies, role changes, nicknames, welcomes, VC, joins/leaves, config changes, security events. Full Discord identity in user-related logs (ID, username, global name, server nick).
