MugUp

MugUp gives your server a daily quiz from a study deck. Someone with Manage Server runs /setup, picks any public deck from the MugUp library, and the channel gets 12 questions a day. Everyone gets the same questions. When the day ends, the bot posts a leaderboard with each person's score and how long they took. If two people have the same score, the faster one wins.

The server works through the whole deck, so nobody gets a question the channel has already had. When the deck runs out, the bot tells you and you pick the next one. Each channel can run its own deck.

You play inside Discord. Press Play and the quiz opens right there, no website and no signup. You can also search the public library from inside the app and play any deck on your own.

If you connect a MugUp account

• You get your own review queue in Discord: the cards that are due across all your decks, 12 at a time
• Those runs count toward your XP and your streak, the same as on the website
• You can start a 1v1 race on any public deck. The channel sees that a seat is open, and the next person who opens MugUp there can take it

Commands

• /setup picks the deck for this channel's daily quiz (needs Manage Server)
• /timezone sets which midnight your server's day ends on
• /stop pauses the daily quiz. Run /setup again to carry on from where you stopped
• /leaderboard shows who has finished first the most days in this channel
• /deck looks up a public deck
• /profile shows someone's public MugUp profile

Flashcards are left out of the daily quiz unless you turn them on with /setup … flashcards: True, because people mark their own flashcard answers.

Set it up from any deck page at mugup.app: the "Use in Discord" button gives you the /setup command with the deck already filled in.
