Lootium's focus is to allow each guild to have a personalized experience with our features, so almost everything can be edited and customized!

What is Gacha

A gacha game (Japanese: ガチャ ゲーム, Hepburn: gacha gēmu) is a video game that implements the gachapon machine style mechanics. Similar to loot boxes, gacha games entice players to spend in-game currency to receive a random in-game item. Some in-game currency generally can be gained through game play, and some by purchasing it from the game publisher using real-world funds.

How things work

Quick Start

For the Gacha to run properly, you should create at least one item per rarity (The gacha will still run so long as there are items, but that should mess with the drop chance calculation).
By default, your guild will have this rarities: common, uncommon, rare, epic, legendary. You can edit, delete or create new rarities as you wish.

Lootium's Gacha System

Like loot boxes, when you roll the gacha in Lootium you will get an item with a rarity, much alike Counter Strike's skin cases. In fact, it is possible to simulate them with Lootium!
By default a guild will have these rarities (DC: Drop Chance):

• Common (50% DC)
• Uncommon (30% DC)
• Rare (15% DC)
• Epic (4.5% DC)
• Legendary(0.5% DC)

When someone rolls the Gacha, Lootium will select a rarity based on their drop chances and then give a random item that belongs to that rarity.

Gacha calculation

We won't 100% expose how Lootium's algorithm works, but here's what is important:
It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that the sum of all rarities drop chances is equal to 100%, if this isn't the case, then the drop chance that is set will not reflect the actual drop chance.
