Connect your LinkUp account to Discord using secure OAuth sign-in. Once linked, your Discord identity (username, email, and avatar) is matched to your LinkUp profile — if you're new, an account is created automatically; if you already have one, you're signed in instantly.

This integration keeps your presence connected across both platforms:

1. Profile Sync — Your Discord avatar and display name populate your LinkUp profile on first login, and you can layer on a bio, cover photo, and website link from there.
2. Feed Activity — Posts, reactions, comments, and stories you create on LinkUp stay tied to the same verified identity Discord recognizes, so your activity across Discover, Following, and Group feeds is always attributable to one consistent profile.
3. Verification & Roles — LinkUp's tiered verification badges (Blue, Red, Gold, Gray, Green) reflect your status — verified user, content creator, business, government/news, or team member — giving your Discord-linked identity visible credibility wherever your posts, comments, or profile appear.
4. Friends & Groups — Friend requests, group memberships, and follower counts carry over to your synced profile, so your social graph on LinkUp travels with the same account you use to sign in via Discord.

One login, one identity, fully synced — no separate password required unless you choose to set one for direct email sign-in later.
