Howie

Hijacked accounts love to spam servers with fake giveaways that push casino and crypto scam sites. Howie spots them and cleans them up before your members click.

What Howie does

• Deletes scam posts the moment they land, including copies posted across several channels.
• Deals with the account. Pick ban, kick, a 1-hour timeout, a 24-hour timeout or delete only. The default is a 1-hour timeout, which stops the spam and gives the owner time to recover a hijacked account.
• Blocks known scam links before they post with Discord AutoMod rules it keeps up to date.
• Reports what it caught to a staff channel of your choice.
• Skips the roles you trust, like your moderators.

Set up in about a minute

1. Add Howie and leave every permission checked.
2. Run /setup and pick your settings.
3. Move Howie's role above your members' roles in Server Settings → Roles.

Howie protects your server with safe defaults from the moment it joins, even before anyone runs /setup.

Built to be trusted

• Never asks for Administrator.
• Never DMs your members, and never deletes channels, roles or your server.
