Equinox

Someone has to be awake at 3 a.m. Equinox is. It deletes scam links, stops raids as they arrive and stops a stolen staff account before it empties your server. Then it does the work of the other bots you run.

What it stops

• A hacked account posting a scam: the scam is deleted in every channel it reached, the account is removed so it can't post more, its owner is messaged the steps to get it back, and staff get one alert.
• Scam links nobody has reported yet: Scam Shield reads a link for what it is, like a swapped letter, a look-alike character from another alphabet or a real name tucked in front of someone else's site.
• Raids: when accounts flood in, Equinox pauses invites, times out the raid's accounts and shows staff which invite they came through.
• A stolen staff login: when a staff account starts banning members in bulk, Staff protection takes its roles away, as your server set it to, and alerts the rest of the team.
• Known bad accounts: an account Equinox caught posting malware or a known scam, or in a raid, is recognized in every server it protects.
• Setup mistakes: the Check-up scores your server's setup out of 100 and lists every problem, worst first, with its fix.
• The worst case: roles, channels and permissions are backed up, and the rebuild after a nuke can start by itself.

And the rest of your server

• Moderation: bans, kicks and timeouts, Auto-Mod with strikes, cases and a server log.
• Support: tickets, ModMail, applications you build yourself and transcripts.
• Community: levels with rank cards, welcome messages, role buttons, giveaways, an economy and temporary voice channels.
• Numbers: analytics, a new member funnel and weekly insights for staff.

Every feature has its own switch, and most start off. Everything is set up on a web dashboard, in a theme of your own.

Getting started

1. Add Equinox. It starts watching the moment it joins.
2. Open the dashboard at dash.eqxbot.com and go to Start here: pick what your server needs and Equinox sets it up.
3. Questions? Ask in our support server.

What it keeps

Your server's records stay your server's, and what members write is encrypted before it is stored. Rules do the work; AI is asked only when the rules can't decide. Anyone can see what is kept about them with /privacy. Equinox asks for the Administrator permission because stopping a raid, undoing a dangerous permission and rebuilding after a nuke reach every role and channel.

Equinox is in alpha: it works today, and some things may still change or break. When something does, tell us in the support server.
