Cove Bot gives every member a voice channel of their own, without anyone having to create one.

Pick a voice channel to act as a lobby (sometimes called join-to-create). When someone joins it, Cove Bot creates a channel for them, moves them in, and hands them the controls. When the last person leaves, the channel is deleted — so your server never accumulates a column of empty voice channels that were made for one conversation months ago.

Owner controls, inside Discord

Run /vc inside your channel to:

• Rename it and set a user limit
• Change the bitrate and region
• Invite someone, or disconnect someone
• Hand ownership to a friend

Three privacy levels

• Public — anyone can join
• Locked — visible, but not joinable
• Hidden — neither visible nor joinable

For locked and hidden channels, people use /knock to ask the owner to let them in. Each member keeps a trust list and a block list that follow them into every channel they create.

Getting started

1. Add Cove Bot to your server.
2. Run /settings and pick a voice channel to act as the lobby. The same panel sets what the channels it creates look like: category, default privacy, name template, user limit, bitrate and region.
3. Join that lobby — your own channel appears and you are moved into it.

Register as many lobbies as you need, each with its own settings. There is no web dashboard to log into.

Permissions and privacy

Cove Bot asks for five permissions and nothing else: View Channels, Manage Channels, Manage Roles, Connect, Move Members. Manage Roles is used to set per-channel privacy — Cove Bot never hands out roles. It records no voice audio and no message content.
