Confession

ConfessionBot gives your community a safe and anonymous space to share what they might not say out loud — crushes, regrets, hot takes, secrets, and everything in between.

Members can submit confessions anonymously, discuss them through anonymous threads, and stay updated on replies while moderators keep full control over the server.

✍️ For Your Members

• Confess in one click. Use Create Confession to write and submit your confession. Each one is posted with a unique number, such as #42.
• Your identity stays private. Post anonymously, or choose to reveal your name when submitting a confession.
• Anonymous conversations. Every confession gets its own thread. Replies remain anonymous using a consistent alias, such as Anon #A3F, making conversations easier to follow.
• Images & videos supported. Attach files up to 25 MB. Location, device, and camera metadata are removed before the file is posted.
• Content warnings. Add a warning to your confession and its content will be hidden behind a spoiler.
• Never miss a reply. Get a DM when someone responds to your confession and keep track of your own replies. Notifications can be muted at any time.
• Take control. Use /my-confessions to view your confessions, check reply counts and approval status, delete your submissions, or withdraw a confession before approval.

🛡️ For Your Moderators

• Guided setup. /setup walks you through the configuration step by step using buttons and menus. No complicated configuration required.
• Optional approval queue. Review confessions before they go live, choose who can approve them, and provide a reason when rejecting one.
• Built-in accountability. A private staff log records who submitted each confession and reply, helping prevent anonymity from being abused.
• Everything you need. Manage reports, confession bans, deletions, configurable columns, and quickly pause the system with a single command.
• A clean confession channel. Keep your channel focused exclusively on confessions. Buttons automatically stay attached to the latest confession panel and return if someone deletes them.

🔒 Privacy & Safety

• No surprise pings. @everyone, @here, role mentions, and user mentions inside confessions never notify anyone.
• No hidden links. Disguised links such as Free Nitro always display their actual destination, helping prevent phishing.
• Minimal data collection. The bot does not read your chat history or member list, and it does not store your uploaded files.
• Automatic data deletion. When a server removes the bot, that server's stored data is permanently deleted after 30 days.
