Note: This is a prototype implementation showcasing various Discord bot capabilities and serverless architecture. It serves as a demonstration and learning platform rather than a production-ready solution.

Brief Description

A serverless Discord bot prototype built on Vercel's FaaS platform, demonstrating modern bot development practices with TypeScript, secure authentication, and database integration. While primarily focused on guild access management, the bot serves as an experimental platform for testing various Discord API features and serverless architectures.

Overview

This Discord bot is a technological prototype developed to explore and demonstrate the possibilities of modern Discord bot development. It's intentionally designed without a specific production goal, serving instead as a sandbox for implementing various Discord features and testing different approaches to bot development.

• Architecture: Serverless deployment on Vercel (Function as a Service)
• Language: TypeScript with Node.js runtime
• Database: Supabase (PostgreSQL)
• Authentication: Discord OAuth2 with Ed25519 signature verification
• Command Structure: Modular slash commands with dynamic loading

Experimental Nature

This bot is intentionally designed as a prototype and playground, meaning:

• Features may be added or removed for testing purposes
• Implementation focuses on demonstrating possibilities rather than solving specific problems
• Code structure prioritizes modularity and extensibility over specific use cases
• Some features might be overengineered to showcase different approaches

Disclaimer

This bot is a prototype and experimental platform. It is not intended for production use and may undergo significant changes. Features may be experimental and could be modified or removed without notice.
