Installation Instructions

1️⃣ Invite A.M.A.R. to Your Server

2️⃣ Set Up Permissions (Required for Full Functionality)

A.M.A.R. does not require the Administrator role by default to provide flexibility for server admins. Upon joining a server, A.M.A.R. inherits the same permissions as any regular member.

However, if your server is a Community Server, the bot may not have the neccessary permission due to the onboarding process. To ensure A.M.A.R. has the permissions it needs to function properly, make sure A.M.A.R. has the following permissions in the channels you want it to moderate:

• Read Messages – Required to analyze content for moderation.
• Send Messages – Allows A.M.A.R. to respond to violations and commands.
• Manage Messages – Enables A.M.A.R. to delete harmful content.
• Ban/Kick Members – Needed for enforcement actions (if enabled).
• Timeout Members – Required to mute users automatically.
• Embed Links & Attach Files – Improves response formatting.
• View Channels – Ensure A.M.A.R. has access to all channels in Community Servers.

📌 Recommended: Give A.M.A.R. the "Administrator" role for the best experience. If you prefer a custom role, ensure it has the permissions listed above.

📌 For Regular Servers: A.M.A.R. will have the permission listed in all public channels, if you would like it to moderate private channels as well, make sure it has the permissions in those channels too.

3️⃣ Configure A.M.A.R.

Use the @Amar set report channel #channel-name command to configure moderation reporting channel.
