Abyss

For certain features, you ping Abyss. If you ping Abyss, say what you want Abyss to do, for example:

@Abyss, ban [user].
@Abyss, create a channel called [channel name].
@Abyss, change the nickname of [user] to [nickname].

Abyss has a built-in AutoMod you can turn off. It filters commonly used, very bad slurs. If a user uses them, they get 2 points. At a certain point amount, we will personally review the case and DM admins for clarification if necessary. At 6 points it requests a kick. 8+ equal a ban. Until we reviewed the punishment, the user will be timed out. You can turn off the text AutoMod by using automod-off and toggle it back on using automod-on.

The built-in image AutoMod cannot be turned off at the moment. It will check for inappropriate images, evaluate an appropriate punishment to us and we will review it.

There is a built-in feature checking for unverified bots. If you add an unverified bot to your server, Abyss will warn you and you can choose to remove the bot.

Abyss will check for bot downtimes in your server. If a bot goes down, it will send an alert. If it goes back up, it will also inform you.

Abyss has Anti-Raid: If a raid is detected or you toggle a lockdown, all new users joining will instantly be restricted and eventually kicked. Anti-Nuke also exists: If Abyss detects it, it will remove all roles from the user it can.

Abyss will create 2 channels:
#abyss-broadcast: Will receive information from developers important to Abyss or overall security.
#abyss-alerts: Here, you will receive all alerts from Abyss, such as Bot Downtimes and the Unverified-Bot-Approval.

Abyss needs Administrator permissions to efficiently moderate channels, access the channels it needs to and also to have all necessary permissions. We understand this is a dangerous permission, however Abyss, being a security bot, needs more extensive permissions compared to a usual bot.
